Server CRASH!!!

I am so tired. Exhausted. My hard drive on my web server… failed… I lost everything on it. I have been trying to get the site back up and running (as well as all the other sites on the server) as quick as I can, but I have had to start from square one.

Fortunately, I had an old backup of www.crimsoncrayon.com with the last image upload being the first page of my most recent book, which means I am going to have to spend a few days rescanning everything from this last image and on.

Please be patient as I get this done… my friends site is far more important for me to get up and running again at this point. I am trying to somehow see if I can fix this hard drive long enough for me to be able to read off it… but it doesn’t look too good.

If I learned anything, it is this one word… “backup”

I wish I could blame Mircosoft for this… but it is an IBM drive that failed…

Any way… back to business!!!
