15 000 HITZ! + New Sketchbook + Michael Martchenko

Well… the biggest news, is the major increase to the viewing of www.crimsoncrayon.com. 15700 hitz to date… and growing. It seems there is some serious interest by people over in China and Russia with regards to this site now. My goal is to have at least 1 hit from every country in the world. 99 countries have visited so far!

Also, I have finished sketchbook #14 and have started #15.

This past week, I also went to a children’s writers and illustrators workshop, where I had the pleasure of meeting Michael Martchenko (the famed illustrator for most of Robert Munsch’s books, including “The Paper Bag Princess”* ) and getting some very valuable tips and advice. I had a great time, and I look forward to next year’s event as well…
